2. Scope of these terms
These Terms of Service govern use of the public website and the information made available through it. A software-development or consulting project is governed by the separate written proposal, statement of work, contract or other terms agreed for that project. If project-specific terms conflict with these website terms, the project-specific written agreement governs the project.
3. Website information is not a binding offer
Service descriptions, examples, concept portfolio items and starting prices are provided to explain possible areas of work. They do not promise that a particular feature, integration, result, timeline or price is available for every project. A binding commercial commitment arises only when the relevant scope and terms are accepted in writing by the parties.
4. Prices, estimates and taxes
Prices shown on the website are starting project estimates. They are not checkout prices and there is no online ordering flow on this site. Any applicable taxes, if any, are not assumed in the public starting estimate and will be stated in the individual written quote before acceptance. The final price can change with scope, integrations, data preparation, third-party requirements and support needs.
5. Enquiries and formation of a project
Submitting a website request, sending an email, calling the phone number or talking with Quantum Navigator starts communication only. It does not automatically create a contract, reserve development capacity or oblige either party to proceed. Before work starts, the parties should agree the scope, responsibilities, deliverables, price, payment terms, timing and any project-specific legal conditions that are needed.
6. Information and materials supplied by a client
A prospective or actual client is responsible for providing information that is reasonably accurate and for having the necessary rights or permissions to provide documents, data, trademarks, media, software access or other materials used in the project. Do not send secrets, credentials, special-category personal data or production data through a first website enquiry unless a secure and agreed channel has been established for that purpose.
7. Third-party systems and integrations
Many software projects depend on third-party APIs, hosting, messaging tools, databases, AI services or business platforms. Availability, pricing, limits and terms of those services are controlled by their providers and may change. Unless a project agreement expressly states otherwise, Quantum Byte Systems cannot guarantee the uninterrupted availability or future behaviour of a third-party service.
9. Acceptable use
Do not use the website to attempt unauthorised access, interfere with operation, distribute malware, scrape the site in a way that materially degrades service, impersonate another person, or submit content that is unlawful or infringes the rights of others. Reasonable browsing, linking and sharing of public pages is permitted.
10. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the website copy, layout, brand elements and original visual assets are protected by applicable intellectual-property rules. You may view and share links to public pages for ordinary informational purposes, but reproduction, resale or creation of a substantially copied commercial website requires permission where the law requires it. Ownership and licensing of deliverables created for a client project are determined by the separate project agreement. Third-party names and technologies remain the property of their respective owners.
11. External links
The website may link to official legal resources or other external sites. Quantum Byte Systems does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their content, security or privacy practices. Follow external links on their own terms.
12. Website availability and accuracy
Reasonable effort is made to keep public information understandable and current, but the website may be updated, temporarily unavailable or contain an error. If information on the website conflicts with an individually issued written proposal or signed agreement, the individually agreed written document controls the relevant project.
13. Liability
Nothing in these website terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by mandatory law. Subject to that rule, the public website and Navigator are provided for informational and navigation purposes, and project-specific warranties, service levels, remedies and liability allocations must be agreed in the relevant project contract rather than inferred from the website.
14. Mandatory consumer rights
If a service is supplied to a person who qualifies as a consumer, mandatory consumer-protection rights that cannot lawfully be waived remain unaffected. Any consumer-specific pre-contract information, cancellation rights or other mandatory terms that apply to a particular transaction should be provided in the project-specific contracting process.
15. Privacy
Personal-data processing connected with the public website is described in the Privacy Policy. Project-specific data-processing roles, confidentiality duties, security requirements or data-processing agreements may need to be agreed separately depending on the project.
16. Governing law and disputes
These website terms are intended to be interpreted under the laws applicable in Latvia, together with applicable European Union law. Any mandatory jurisdiction or consumer-protection rules that legally apply take precedence. Project contracts may contain their own dispute-resolution provisions.
